What Your Athlete Will Learn

Young athletes improve fastest when fundamentals are taught clearly and repeated consistently.

Here’s what we coach week-to-week:

  • Athletic stance and start mechanics (age-appropriate)

  • Footwork, balance, and body control

  • Basic acceleration patterns and safe stopping technique

  • Intro agility movements (change of direction with control)

  • Football fundamentals taught step-by-step (non-contact)

  • Confidence and coachability habits that carry into games

Why We Start With a Call

The call helps ensure Playmaker Academy is the right fit for your athlete before enrolling.

During the conversation, we will:

  • Learn about your athlete’s age, experience, and goals

  • Answer questions about training structure and expectations

  • Confirm readiness and placement

  • Walk through next steps if it’s a fit

Calls are brief, straightforward, and there is no pressure to enroll.

Playmaker FAQs

Does my child need experience?

No. Playmaker is built for beginners and developing athletes.

Is this contact?

No. Playmaker is non-contact and focused on safe fundamentals.

What if my child plays other sports?

Perfect. Better speed, coordination, and movement carry into every sport.

What if my child is advanced for their age?

We’ll recommend the best fit based on readiness, not just age.

How quickly will we see improvement?

Many athletes feel more confident quickly. Measurable progress builds with consistent

training over 4–8+ weeks.

When does training run?

Playmaker Academy runs February through mid-July — the football offseason. All scheduled breaks are posted in advance. Most families train the full offseason, pause during football season, and return the following year.

What happens during scheduled breaks?

Scheduled breaks don't reduce your session count. Your enrollment stays active through July 31, giving you flexibility to train around your athlete's other commitments. All breaks are posted upfront at enrollment, and homework is assigned on the days are not meeting.

What does $160/month include?

$160/month gives you access to Saturday sessions at 1:00 PM through the offseason (February–July). Sessions run 60 minutes in groups of 8 athletes max. Cancel with a 3-week notice. An optional Thursday Weekday Boost is available for +$120/month for athletes who want extra work on movement and agility.

How does monthly membership billing work?

Monthly membership is billed on the 1st of each month (or your enrollment anniversary date). Your payment method is charged each month until you cancel. Most months include approximately 4 sessions, though this may vary slightly based on the calendar and scheduled breaks.

What if my child misses a session?

We will try to offer a make-up session when class availability allows, but make-ups are not guaranteed. Consistent attendance produces the best results.

Can I cancel or pause my membership?

You can cancel your membership at any time by giving written notice (email to coacholiver@oliverjordanfootball.com) at least 7 days before your next billing date.

What if Coach Oliver cancels a session?

If I need to cancel a session (travel, weather, or emergency), you'll receive advance notice. I'll offer a make-up session within the same month when possible. Sessions canceled by me will not count against your monthly total.

How does the sibling discount work?

When multiple athletes from the same family enroll, the first athlete pays $160/month and each additional sibling pays $140/month. The discount is applied automatically at enrollment.

What's included in monthly membership?

Your monthly membership includes:

  • Weekly training session

  • Small group coaching (max 8 athletes per session)

  • Ongoing coaching feedback

  • Parent communication and program updates
